The High Court has ordered the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) to supply the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party with the Kibra constituency voter register with Identification (ID) numbers.

ODM had rushed to court accusing the IEBC of providing them with an incomplete voter register making it hard to verify the voters for tomorrow’s by elections.

IEBC had opposed the suit by ODM stating that they could not contact Delarue to make the printout and provide it to the party within 2 hours, that was before the end of business day today.

The judge declined the IEBCs’ excuse giving them less than 24 hours to provide ODM with the list and still open up the polls tomorrow morning.

ODM’s Imran Okoth is set to face McDonald Mariga from Jubilee, Eliud Owalo from ANC and Ford Kenya’s Eng. Khamisi Butichi.

ODM has been very concerned from the onset of the campaigns with the involvement of the Deputy president in Jubilee campaigns.

From allegations of voter bribery to reports of planned rigging, ODM has been playing this one close to the chest especially since Kibra is perceived as Baba’s bedroom. For Ruto, this is a 2022 litmus paper, is Raila unbwogable?
