Speaking to the media on his reaction after the Nation Media ran a photo of him in the orbituary, Billionaire Businessman Jimmy Wanjigi expressed his horror and disgust in what he termed as a direct threat from Uhuru Kenyatta.
According to Wanjigi, the Nation Media group was simply a conveyor of the message, a veiled threat coming directly from State House.
“I don’t take it lightly and I must say what they did was horrific…it did not hurt me as much as it hurt my family,” Wanjigi said.
Wanjigi further lamented that we are living in dangerous times and that anything could happen to anyone. However, he had a glimpse of hope for the future.
“Kenya right now is going through a twilight zone, anything can happen to us anytime, but dawn is not far….the dawn is coming and is not far away,” Wanjigi said.
Wanjigi insisted that Uhuru’s regime is coming to an end very very soon and that the many Kenyans who have been killed by the arms of police will finally find their justice.
Jimmy Wanjigi has greatly suffered under the hands of Uhuru Kenyatta after their fallout before he chose to stand behind and support President Raila Odinga.
His home was previously under siege for several hours as police tried looking for firearms. This was before other firearms were dropped at his Coast properties in a bid to tie the NASA coalition to an armed militant group.
The obituary ad shocked many Kenyans at the audacity of the regime in sending death threats to their political opponents.
