Police Arrest Probox Driver For Failing ‘To Print Speed Limit Sticker’

The Motorists Association of Kenya have taken up a case against a motorist who is charged in Court for ‘failing to print speed limit sticker’. Is that even an offence? In this case NO.

While there are laws that require vehicles be fitted with speed governors and speed stickers, this laws are only specific to vehicles with tare weight of 3804Kg and above for commercial vehicles and all public service vehicles.

The motorist arrested was driving a personal probox which means the laws regarding speed governors and stickers are not applicable, but shock on you, the police arrested him.
