Regrets As Waiguru Must Go Demos Rock Kirinyaga

Residents of Mwea, Kirinyaga County have earlier today staged massive demonstrations for the removal of their newly elected Governor Ann Waiguru.

Angry demonstrators laments that Waiguru has sidelined the people of Mwea due to poor leadership.

“I keep on reminding you if Waiguru won’t change her way of leadership she will be a one term governor in Kirinyaga County. The residents of Mwea are the ones who decides who to lead and who not to. Waiguru Must Go! “, a resident said.

In Mwea Ngurubani Town for example, the mother of all demonstrations is ongoing because of what residents claimed, doing things without consulting the residents.

Waiguru is the second Governor in less than a year to attract demos against their leadership.

Kiambu residents are also up in demos demanding the resignation and deportation of Governor Waititu. The locals even said Miguna Miguna should be brought back as their Governor.
